There is nothing more wonderful than watching your children grow into confident, accomplished adults.  Call me an old romantic but when your daughter tells you that she's getting married, then that really is call for a CELEBRATION!

Now whether your offspring are traditional and get married from home (like me - though lamb to the slaughter comes to mind)!  Or they try each other on for size, have the house, know each others "quirks" and want to make it "official", it really doesn't matter.  What matters is that they have found - "The One"! (Or in my case - the one, for now) :)

No I'm not cynical, I'm a realist and any engagement, wedding, moving in together, kids, whatever it may be, my opinion is that any commitment to another above all others should be viewed with as much optimism as possible.  Unless the other person is a psycho, in which case lock the bedroom door and throw away the key.

Ahh, another step on the ladder of life.

Of course I'm looking forward to being mother of the bride!  It's the best incentive to shift the summer pounds and as it looks like they'll be getting hitched next Summer it doesn't give me much time.

So, gifting!  Well our gift will be £££'s to help with the cost of the do and a bit for a wedding night somewhere swanky but I'm not a fan of the new wedding present lists - non existent!  Usually a quirky poem about "having everything they need but money for a honeymoon will be nice".  Don't get me wrong, I get it but I like gifting!

That's why our "Say Yes" gift box for engaged couples is perfect for the love birds.  A countdown clock to the big day, a beautifully scented candle, Bride and Groom to Be mug set (or same sex) and a couple of vow books for the ceremony.  No tatt and all useful and thoughtful additions.

We also have the mugs as a popular and budget friendly alternative.  Check it out!

Good luck to all the brides and grooms to be!  I for one love a good wedding!
